3. Entry is only open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over who are in attendance at the State of Origin 2 game (NSW Blues v Queensland Maroons) taking place at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, on Wednesday 26th June 2024.
4. Employees (and their Immediate Families) of the Promoter or any of its parent companies, subsidiaries or affiliated companies or any agency associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter. Employees are defined as any officer, director, executive, employee, consultant, contractor or other person who performs work under the control of another in exchange for payment. Immediate families are defined as spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin and the persons referred to above includes natural and non-natural relations. 5. The promotion commences at 3.00pm (AEST) Wednesday 26th June 2024 and closes 8.10pm(AEST) Wednesday 26th June 2024. (Promotional Period)
6. To enter, individuals must SMS their FULL NAME (First and Last Name) to 0429 222 888 during the promotional period. Standard SMS rates apply. All entrants will receive an SMS auto reply message confirming the receipt of their entry.
7. Only one entry permitted per unique mobile number. Entries are deemed to be received by the Promoter at the time of actual receipt into the Promoter’s database (and not at the time of transmission by the entrant)
8. All valid entries will be placed into an electronic prize draw which will be conducted by SL Interactive Pty Ltd.
9. One (1) winner will be randomly drawn at 8.30pm (AEST) Wednesday 26th June 2024, using approved software managed by SL Interactive Pty Ltd.
10. The winner’s details (name and mobile number) will be highlighted on the stadium scoreboard within 30mins after the draw at approximately 8:45pm and the winner will be contacted by the Promoter via phone on the mobile number they entered the competition within 24 hours of the prize draw to coordinate the fulfilment of the prize.
11. The winner will win a trip for two people to attend the State of Origin III game to be held at Suncorp Stadium on 17/07/2024 including 2 x corporate hospitality tickets which include entry to the game and hospitality food and beverages, return economy airfares from Sydney to Brisbane, 1 night twin share accommodation staying at The Hilton Brisbane airport transfers to and from hotel, a welcome and Coates and State of Origin merchandise pack, entry to the pre-match function with Coates ambassadors Josh Morris and Petero Civoniceva and hotel transfers to the pre match function.
12. Total value of the prize is A$4,000 inclusive of GST
13. Winner must be able to travel on the date that coincides with the State of Origin III game taking place at Suncorp Stadium on the Wednesday 17th July, 2024 . If the winner is unable to take the prize on the travel date as stated or they fail to notify the Promoter of their attendance within the time period as outlined below, the winner will forfeit their right to their prize with no redraw taking place.
14. Due to the limited time between the draw/winner notification and the State of Origin III game, the winner must advise the Promoter within 2 days of notification if they will be redeeming their prize to enable flight and accommodation bookings. Should the winner not notify the Promoter within 2 business days of notification, then that winner will forfeit their right to the prize with no redraw taking place.
15. The prize includes prepaid airfare taxes and standard checked luggage surcharges. Further conditions may apply, including the airline’s conditions of carriage. Flights are economy class and may be indirect. The Promoter (or its agent) will make each winner’s travel reservations, subject to booking and flight availability. After the Promoter (or its agent) have made the winner’s travel reservation, the winner cannot change the travel reservation. If the winner does not travel at the time of the travel reservation, the prize is forfeited. The Promoter may book flights with any airline in its absolute discretion. The Promoter makes no representations about the travel destination. The Promoter is not responsible for any damage to the hotel room caused or contributed by the winner or their travel companion. The winner and their travelling companion must travel on the same flight, at the same time and are responsible for their own transportation from their homes to and from Sydney airport. The winner is responsible for any costs associated with the prize which are not expressly specified to be included in the prize. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required by the hotel from the winner at check-in for incidental charges during the winner’s and their travel companion’s stay. The winner or their travelling companion must hold a valid credit card and present it at check in. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and their travelling companion are fit to travel and have received any required immunisations and health checks before travelling. The winner and their travelling companion are responsible for ensuring their own travel insurance and travel documents required to travel before travelling. The winner and their travel companion are responsible for complying with any health and travel requirements applying to the travel destination before travelling. The winner and guest must be over 18 years of age to be eligible to accept the prize.
16. The winner will be required to provide proof of eligibility (i.e.: Identification and proof of attendance at the game) in order to claim prize.
17. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
18. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
19. The Promoter may (in its absolute discretion) invalidate an entry or exclude an entrant from the promotion process if that entrant:
(a) disrupts, annoys, abuses, threatens, harasses the Promoter, another entrant or potential entrant of the promotion or another person associated with the promotion (or attempts to do so);
(b) submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the promotion process; or
(c) engages in conduct which is misleading, deceptive, fraudulent or damaging to the Promoter's goodwill or reputation.
20. If the promotion process is not able to be carried out due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, including due to any tech or communication issues, the Promoter may (in its absolute discretion) amend, suspend or cancel the promotion, subject to the approval from the relevant regulator.
21. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash, except if the prize is cash. If the prize (or part of it) is unavailable, the Promoter may (in its absolute discretion) substitute the prize (or part of it) with a replacement prize of an equal or greater value, subject to the approval from the relevant regulator.
22. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its employees, agents and contractors are not liable for any loss, expense, damage or liability suffered or incurred by an entrant or a winner in connection with the promotion, including:
(a) tech issues or equipment malfunction;
(b) theft, unauthorised access or interference;
(c) an entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to a reason beyond the Promoter’s control;
(d) a variation in prize value to that specified;
(e) a tax liability incurred by a winner or an entrant; and
(f) use of the prize.
23. The entrant irrevocably assigns to the Promoter any intellectual property rights in any material submitted by them in an entry. The winner irrevocably consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and voice in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the promotion and the Promoter’s products and services.
24. The Promoter collects personal information in order to carry out the promotion process, and may disclose that personal information to its employees, agents and contractors for the purpose of carrying out the promotion process. Entry is conditional on the entrant providing that personal information. If an entrant does not provide that personal information, they cannot enter the promotion. If an entrant wishes to access or update the personal information the Promoter holds about them, they may contact the Promoter.
25. By participating in the promotion, entrants agree to receive promotional material about the Promoter’s products and services and disclose that personal information to agents and contractors that the Promoter engages for that purpose.
